Gills & Thrills is an online aquarium store built by aquatic enthusiasts, stocking freshwater fish, shrimp, snails, live plants, and the hardware and food that keep them healthy. We ship nationwide, and every product page carries the care information you need before you buy - tank size, water parameters, and compatible tank mates for livestock, and practical sizing guidance for hardware like heaters and filters.
Livestock is dispatched on express or overnight courier, Monday to Wednesday only, so nothing sits in transit over a weekend, and every live order is covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee - if something arrives dead, tell us within 2 hours with photos and we'll sort a credit, refund, or reshipment. Dry goods (food, hardware, and accessories) ship standard courier in 2-5 business days, with free shipping on orders over R2000. You can pay by card, EFT, or cash on delivery, and reach us any time at info@gillsandthrills.co.za or WhatsApp.
New to the hobby? Read our shipping, care & ordering FAQ for tank cycling and acclimation basics, more about how we work on our About Us page, or check the full shipping and Live Arrival Guarantee terms before you order live animals for the first time.
