300W Glass Heater

This 300W submersible glass heater maintains water temperature in aquariums between 200 and 300 litres. It uses a coiled heating element housed in a glass tube, controlled by a manual thermostat dial at the top that adjusts from 20°C to 32°C.

The unit includes two suction cups for vertical or horizontal mounting and an indicator light to show when the heating element is active. At approximately 30cm in length, it requires a decent water depth to ensure the minimum water level line is always submerged during operation.

Because the outer casing is glass, this heater is susceptible to thermal shock. If you remove it from the tank or perform a water change while the glass is still hot, it can crack. We recommend turning it off at the wall for at least 15 minutes before any maintenance to let the element cool down properly.
